Did Enoch Teach Us How to Do Business in the Spirit?

Hey family,
Let’s talk about something that’s been pressing on my heart lately: what does it really mean to do business in the Spirit?
Now I know, we often separate our spiritual walk from our work, our 9 to 5, our side hustle, or even our ministry. But I truly believe that’s not how Yahuah intended it to be. And if we take a closer look at someone like Enoch, we see a life that challenges that separation.
Enoch Walked With God—But What Does That Really Mean?
The Bible doesn’t give us a long biography of Enoch, but what it says is powerful:
“And Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God took him.” — Genesis 5:24 NKJV
That verse alone is loaded. Think about it. He walked with God so closely, so consistently, that Yahuah just took him. No death. No fanfare. Just divine relocation.
But here's what I’ve been sitting with: what does walking with God look like in today’s context—especially in business?
I believe it looks like aligning every move you make with Ruach Ha’Kodesh (Holy Spirit). It means not just praying over your invoices or asking for favor in sales, but inviting Yah into every part of your strategy, your client calls, your content, and even your contracts.
Enoch’s Life Wasn't Passive. Neither Is Yours.
Sometimes we think walking with God means waiting around. But Enoch’s walk wasn’t idle. It was intimate, intentional, and consistent. And I believe it’s a model for how we’re supposed to move in this generation—especially those of us called to marketplace ministry.
Your business can’t just be good. It needs to be God-aligned. You might be good at strategy, branding, design, coaching, or sales—but have you asked Yah what He wants your business to look like this season?
I’m convinced Enoch teaches us this: The more time you spend in Yah’s presence, the more divine your assignments become.🕊️
The more obedient you are, the clearer your next steps become.
The more you walk in the Spirit, the more you operate in supernatural success, not just financial, but impact, peace, and legacy.
Doing Business in the Spirit: What It Looks Like Practically
Let’s be real. “Spiritual business” isn’t just about slapping a Bible verse on your Instagram bio. It looks like:
Pausing your launch to pray for direction.
Saying no to a high-paying client if it compromises your integrity.
Creating offers that serve before they sell.
Tithing from your business because you trust Yah with the seed.
Partnering with the Holy Spirit when you're writing that proposal, showing up on video, or negotiating a deal.
This is what it means to walk with God like Enoch in your business—it’s less about hustle and more about His presence guiding your process.
Final Thoughts: You Don’t Have to Do This Alone
If you’re feeling like you’ve been trying to build your business on your own strength, this is your reminder: you don’t have to. Yah is ready to walk with you like He walked with Enoch.
And when you partner with Him, you're not just building income. You’re building a Kingdom legacy.
